Words from the Heart: a Valentine’s Day Card Station

Saturday, February 10th from 1:00-7:00 pm

In front of Regal Theaters

Kapolei Commons is delighted to announce its upcoming free event “Words from the Heart: a Valentine’s Day Card Station.” The heartwarming event features 5 custom designed, love-themed greeting cards in collaboration with Kapolei-resident and chalkboard artist Erin Ibarra from The Artery Design Co. Designs include a play on sweetheart candy with words like “Aloha,” “‘Ohana,” and "Ku'uipo," which means "my sweetheart" in Hawaiian. Other cards include elegant red ti leaves in the shape of the heart, a pair of ʻiʻiwi, Hawaiian honeycreeper birds, coming together to form a love-shape, and more.

Kapolei Commons will have 250 free greeting cards available in front of Regal Theaters on Saturday, February 10th from 1:00-7:00 pm. Shoppers are welcome to take the card with them, one per person, or write their special message at the table.

There will also be an additional 100 greeting cards available for a senior care home in Kapolei. Pick up a card for your loved one and write a Valentine’s Day note in another for our kūpuna. We will be delivering all the cards to 'Ilima at Leihano along with a care package of sweet treats from La Tour Cafe on February 14th.
